Points System
This series will consist of an individual driver championship and also a team championship. The driver's championship is where the prizes are won but winning the team championship is equally as important.
Every finishing position from 1st to 32nd will earn points on the following scale:
1st - 100
2nd - 90
3rd - 82
4th - 76
5th - 70
6th - 65
7th - 60
8th - 55
9th - 50
10th - 46
11th - 42
12th - 38
13th - 34
14th - 31
15th - 28
16th - 25
17th - 22
18th - 20
19th - 18
20th - 16
21st - 14
22nd - 12
23rd - 10
24th - 9
25th - 8
26th - 7
27th - 6
28th - 5
29th - 4
30th - 3
31st - 2
32nd - 1
The total maximum points for the driver's championship will therefore be 500 points.
The team championship will be calculated by taking the top two drivers of a each team per round. Say a team fields 4 drivers and they finish 1st, 2nd, 6th and 12th. The top two drivers from that team will score points towards the team total, in this example, the team score from round 1 would be 190 points for 1st & 2nd place.
