Hello there,

Due to the amount of things we had going on last week, the round 2 summary was delayed. But not to worry, better late than never!

Round 2 saw 4 of the [TC] Racing drivers pitch the LX6 against 34 laps of Aston North Reversed (AS7R). It was a tough race for everyone involved because the combination of the car and the circuit demanded concentration for every second of the 1hr 15m running time. Connor finished a respectable 10th in grid 2, his highest finish for the team whilst Howlin came home in 15th bagging [TC] Racing 2 some valuable points. In grid 1, Pete managed to secure 5th place after a dreadful first lap which saw him plummet to 12th on the first lap. Elmo had similar troubles at the start of the race but managed to keep his car pointing in the right direction and finished 19th.

Round 3 saw Luke return to the season after a 4 week break. This week we drove the XRG (+1% AIR) and the XFG at Fern Bay Green Alternative for 44 death defying laps. Well... 3 of us did. In grid 1 Elmo had a terrible start accidentally letting the clutch go before the lights went out giving him a stop-go penalty. Upon serving the penalty he got himself another one for driving off before the penalty was over. He eventually served it but a few laps later flipped his XRG in the lethal first chicane which spelled the end of his race. A shame, valuable points were lost. Luke grabbed 15th in the end after a few lucky escapes in the first chicane along the way. The first podium of the season came for [TC] Racing 1 as Pete took 3rd after a less than impressive qualifying session. The win was certainly on the cards but 9th in qualifying on a track where overtaking is tricky set him off on the back foot. Over in grid 2, Connor got our best race result of the season taking a very well deserved 2nd place, his best result of the season so far. Good job, Connor!

The next 2 weeks in the CityLiga schedule are Grid Qualifying 2 where the grids are decided for the next 3 rounds. This time we're blasting BF1s around Westhill International Reversed (WE1R) and damn it's mad! Pete is safely in grid 1 as he is in the top 10 in the championship. All drivers still need to set times though because whatever your best time is in this GQ session determines your start position for the 62 lap, 1hr 30m, 3 stop race on Monday 1st September at 19:30 UTC+1! Be sure to tune in to the live stream because it's going to be brilliant!
