Westhill Rally Competition

I've come up with a simple rally idea that will be very similar to the Rally stages that [TC] held back in Gumball 2015. The basis of the idea is to hold the quickest time before the end of the competition.

Now, I know it's halfway through Westhill and it's quickly coming up to the next track, that's why I'll leave this going until the next track rotation of Westhill. I'll bump this thread again so that people are aware of it next time around.

When this first stage ends, it doesn't have to be me that starts the next stage, the first person that creates a new stage after the end of the last one will be the next stage everyone has to run on. I will then put that stage in the OP so everyone knows what stage we're on.

At the end of each stage, the winner will get some InSim cash for prize money. It should usually be the person who created the stage who provides this prize money but if you can't, I'm happy to help fund.

Some Rules:
  • You must use the RB4 as your choice of car. (Sorry if you're renting but it's only for a few minutes!)
  • Strictly NO corner cutting is allowed! If your replay shows this, your laptime will be invalidated.
  • You must save your replay and post it in your reply below as evidence.
  • You must record your time (preferably using a stopwatch [app/real]) and post it in your reply below.
  • You must stop the clock when you hit the fence at the stage end.
  • You must start with the back of your car touching the fence
  • No jump starts. Please start the clock in time for when you start moving, not before, not after.
  • No fake times, please be truthful. This is all for fun anyway!
  • Usual [TC] rules apply. No one is obliged to wait for you as they have no idea you're on a lap. Please apologise if you hit someone, COPs can still chase you etc.
  • Any other use of different cars and your laptime will also be invalidated.
  • Download the original replay and watch where the track is. You may do as many practice laps as you want.
  • Follow the exact same track as in the original replay of the stage you are on.
  • You must provide the correct timestamp from where your run starts. (No timestamps from practice runs, please!)
  • You may do as many laps as you want and then provide the correct timestamp for your quickest lap.
  • Laps MUST be done on [TC] CityDriving One when the track is on Westhill. This way, no one has the advantage of no traffic.
  • Please DO NOT use [TC] CityDriving Two as it will be fairly obvious when there is no traffic. The time of the replay is always a giveaway too.
  • The minimum number of players online at the time of setting your lap must be 15. Any lower and your laptime will be invalidated.
  • You may update your time after you have posted it whenever you like. Just remember to edit your post and state that you have changed it!

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Smile

Have fun!
Too easy to just go on the server two at night when there is hardly any traffic Smile
Perhaps put a minimum of X players online to make a lap "valid" ?
Good idea Frozen, added to the rules.
Lol Frozen chase Connor xD.

Great Rally Competition! I will try, when get new wheel. Smile

The minimum number of players online 15 too easy, best set to 20. 25. Smile

And when unit to end?
I set it to 15 because some people, for example USA/Australia, play on the server at very different times to everyone else. They rarely have much time on a full server so I need to cater to those players too.

What I think you were getting at with the end is that Stage 1 will end around halfway through the next Westhill track rotation, maybe nearer the start so we can get Stage 2 going.
