Information

At 17:00 GMT+1 on Friday 19th August, [TC] Events will open for the Multi-Class Relay race. This event will take place on AS2.

N.B This is a team-oriented event so make sure at least three of your team members turn up to this event!

This event is only open to Gumball 2016 sign-ups - Passwords will be sent to competitors

For those of you who do not have a Gumball team will be assigned into a random team of three (or more). Individual Gumballers may also be allocated to an existing Gumball team if they do not field at least 3 members for the race.

Race Layout

Each race involves 3 or 4 teams of 3 or more members.

Cars will be split into five classes (GTR, NGT, RFC, TBO and GTi).

Car Classes (Click to View)

Teams will be required to use one car of each class. You will line up on the grid in single file in an order of your choice.

eg. Team #1 lines up with NGT, TBO, RFC, GTi, GTR in that order. This means that their NGT car (XFR/UFR) will do a lap of the circuit first.

Once that car crosses the finish line, the next car then starts their lap and so on until all of the cars have crossed the finish line. The first team to have all of their cars cross the finish line wins 1st place.

Drivers who have finished their lap MUST spectate.

Those teams with less than five members must use one person to drive more than one car. Drivers who need to drive more than one car must still spectate after finishing their lap, but will then need to leave the pits with the next car they are driving straight away. These drivers then must very carefully drive to their respective lines on the grid without causing an upset on the track.

eg. Team #1 has three members, therefore:

Driver #1 - TBO & GTi
Driver #2 - RFC & GTR
Driver #3 - NGT

N.B We suggest that you allocate your first driver (and second driver) to drive more than once. This way, you will not waste valuable time having to drive up the pitlane then rejoin the track to complete your next lap.

Depending on the amount of sign-ups, there will be Semi-Final (or Quarter-Final) heats that determine which teams go through to the next round.

Prizes

The top 3 teams are awarded €60,000, €45,000 and €30,000 respectively, split evenly across all members of the team.

Rules

1. If you sign up, turn up. If you cannot attend the event, please make sure you contact one of the event organisers prior to the event.
