So, i think i got a virus of somesort on my pc, as Google chrome just keeps opening these damn advert sites and other shit like 5 pages at a time. Avast wont regocnise any viruses on my pc, so im left with no choice to remove them ;D

any help?
Lol! I just had to get rid of those, too, like a minute ago. I used adwcleaner, and it took those away.

P.S. Maybe we were on the same page...shh. Rolleyes
This might be an option too: http://malwarebytes.com
I too have this problem for about a month, tried a few programmes people suggested but none have worked
reinstall OS, solves pretty much everything software related (if you have reached the point where you can not fix the issue obviously)
I have never had an issue that couldn't be fixed with MalwareBytes. I've had it for years and it still serves me well today.

You could also go the simple route of resetting your web browser to default settings. Sometimes there's an extension installed that could trigger useless pop-ups.

Good luck.
If malwarebytes doesn't pick it up, reinstall your OS.
Safemode + Malwarebytes. You'll be good after that.

If not try a Cleanboot then use Malwarebytes:

Also, when you install some program, as we (most of ppl) are used to do, we click Accept Accept Accept Accept without reading. Maybe, you have installed something that its causing this, and thats why Avast dont recognise it, cause detect it at program
Nah, i always read carefully what programs will install and i remove all dont need from the lists.

I think i removed the virus, but ill see if it pops back.
You most likely got it clicking an ad, like I did.

An ad where, if I may ask?
Not on this forum, but on another site, though I don't feel like saying its name... All in all, on a site not related to this one.

P.S. You could also have gotten it visiting a certain website containing it.
malwarebytes is REALLY good it got all my malware off my PC. Smile

Specialist gentlemen's literature by any chance? Wink
EDIT: Don't do drugs kids.
Use System restore, those extensions are almost impossible to delete.

I have to disagree. I am fairly sure I had the exact same malware thing on my computer, and I got rid of it in a minute.
Well have you checked that the possible chrome extensions that have been installed and been removed? If not uninstall the browser or something. You won't need to restore or delete anything if it's just adware.

It's possibly just something in your browser, so a fresh install of that should fix it. Make system restore a very last resort.
