[965] GTR Rally will be held on December 29th on the [965]GTR Rally server
The basic premise
We will have 6 stages of rally on roads, the cars we will use are:
Class:
FXR
XRR
FZR
Each person will have to sign up and state the car they want to use, as switching between stages is not allowed, since some stages are angled between the different cars/classes, this is so we can have a level playing field between all of them.
The event as you know is on the 29th, we aim to start it at 7:00PM UK Time. Where we will want players in by 6:00-6:30 as there will be practises on each stage as they come around (About 10 minutes).
The starting procedure
When the stage starts I will choose the player at the top of the connection list and tell them to go, when their timer is done we will wait 5 seconds then tell the next person to go, this mixed with the wait time for start (as we use the S starts) will add up to about 15 seconds. This will give enough time for people to go.
You may not pit and re-join after you have started the run, if you or others are to crash and you or the opposition cannot continue the run, you will have to spectate and receive a DNF for this run. (a DNF will add on 5 Minutes to your total time of the run.)
When you have finished you may spectate although we would prefer for people that have finished their runs to form an orderly line in the space provided so we can keep track of who has finished.
The Basic Rules
- No pitting/spectating UNLESS you have crashed and cannot move to a safe place.
- No waiting for drivers; This means when your told to go GO.
- Ramming is forbidden, we know on dirt sections it can happen.
- If you have a problem, take it to a rally director.
- No VOBS/Tweaks; We will instantly kick/ban anyone with these.
- You must stick with the car you signed up with.
- Have fun!
Overtaking procedures
If a driver is struggling and is going at a slower speed than you, then the driver ahead which is going slow, should move over to one side to let you pass. This may only be done safely on a straight, overtaking in corners is forbidden.
Prizes
We're running off a percentage system which goes as follows:
1st: 70%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 10%
The base prize pool is €10,000 InSim, donations will be accepted!
Skins/Nicknames
Drivers MUST use a nickname which contains:
- Their sign up name (EG Mine would be Huski)
- Their number (EG mine is 167)
