Hello,

After some internal discussions, we've decided that Arab Drifting - A.K.A Tafheet (تفحيط) and Hajwalah (هجولة) - is now only allowed in stunt zones.

There's evidently been a bit of confusion amongst the community whether this is actually allowed or not; some interpreted the server rules for it to be disallowed at all times, whilst others interpreted that it's not allowed only when causing issues. This rule we've added is intended to maintain a fun environment for everyone and to clear this up.

Of course, the following rule already exists:

Server Rules Wrote:1.2. Do not crash or ram other cars deliberately.

This includes negligent and reckless driving, provoking accidents, for example blocking the track, doing stunts or doughnuts on the road and so on.

However, history shows us that our existing rules weren't enough to stop the continuous problems caused by this particular style of driving. Numerous crashes, arguments, reports and admin time were the results. Therefore, we decided to grab the problem by its root and implemented this new rule:

Server Rules Wrote:1.12.2. Arab drifting (aka Tafheet (تفحيط) or Hajwalah) is only allowed in stunt-zones.

This new rule clearly states that this style of driving is strictly prohibited regardless - unless in a stunt zone. In turn, this allows admins to, properly within the confines of the rules, immediately put an end to any user driving in this manner, before they go on to almost inevitably provoke or actually cause a crash.

Thanks,
