Nick does your laptop overheating? Tongue
I did have same computer (was overheating all the time) but i gaved it to my parents Biggrin
It overheats a lot, it's currently raised at the back by two crushed Irn-Bru cans.

Even still it reaches around 90 degrees running most programs. Without the cans, it heads quickly to 100.

The moral of the story is don't buy from HP.
I lift my laptop up with 4 plastic bottle caps blu-tack'd onto the corners Laugh Great airflow.

Done that before.

Usually use my phone now to lift up the rear left corner as it only seems to get hot (I use it on my bed, not a desk so it's probably slowly killing itself). Yes it's a HP but I'm not crying.
ohhh yeahhhhh

Unsure if I have posted my rig here, anyway, I have updated it with 3x24" monitors and a car seat, I use a BMW handbrake(wired with a button) and a luisi carwheel aswell:

Wolf, I could've sworn, the last rig I saw of you, was 3x 15" (or was it 17"?), a room-chair, and a coffee-mug being used while drifting. Tongue
Hehe, tnx 4 feedback, bought monitors used, low price.
And the chair is accualy going in my Opel with. a identical one later in my car build Tongue

I started of with a 19" crt, and added two 17" crt's on the sides, so that is correct Smile

Got a new laptop:
Thinkpad T61p, Core 2 Duo T7300, 2GB ram, 1200p display, Nvidia FX570M. Bought it for just 20£ with a non-functional graphics chip. Stuck it in the oven for 10 mins, works a charm now. Smile'

What the heck do you need so many laptops for? Tongue

The T43p is my baby, I paid 20£ for it, worked beautifully when I bought it, but needed hard drive and a battery, which I happened to have laying around. It works a charm and is in very good condition. It hasn't got high enough value for selling with a propor profit. I've chosen then to just keep it as a spare PC.

The W500 had a broken USB port when I bought it half a year ago which resulted in shortcircuiting the system. So I fixed it, and am currently using it for school and as my primary laptop. I am currently trying to sell it, as I bought it for 90£, and should easily be able to sell it on for 250£. I upgraded it with a 9 cell battery and a 120GB SSD 3 months ago. When I sell it I'll keep the SSD for my desktop PC.

The T61p I bought a week ago with a malfunctioning motherboard. I knew the problem was in the graphics chip, and that a reflow of the soldering would do it. (Stuck it in the oven at 200ºC for 10mins). It worked, and now I can sell it for around 120-150£. Bought it for 30£.

Also mostly a hobby/fanboy thing. Tongue
Cola, you should probably build some kind of rails for your chair, so you can easily push yourself to the next computer you want to use.
