Here in Canada, you can't have a tint that blocks more than 30% of the light on the front windows. Back and rear windows are not limited to anything. Makes for a good compromise and usually cops don't mind all the way up to 50%. You can still clearly see where you're going.

Tbh it isn't legal to tint the front windows here either. But Jones did it anyway
I'm just having a regular Ford owner evening! My regular oil service turned into something a bit bigger (half the fillings in the engine bay are now out ) but luckily it's a fun and easy engine to work on.

I could imagine that Escort needs a lot of work?
The black/white paintjob (except for the bonnet) was done last year, the car was originally a sort of stale blue and grey.
And not really, the engine was built early this year so literally almost everything is brand new (crank, pistons, head, valves, lifters, timing, distributor etc.).
Mostly I'm just changing fluids and other service items + fixing a botched timing belt replacement, the tensioner here is quite tricky so I can see why it got messed up.
I could've done with a lot less work but I'm going to do everything in one go while I'm taking it apart Atleast then I will know that everything is proper.
As a bonus I'm putting new clear indicators on.
EDIT: Oh yeah and FINALLY after so much mucking about (never delegate ordering parts to other people, it just doesn't work) my winter tires are ready to go under the car with new bolts and adapters.
I need a new carburetor gasket its have been burned again, have changed that 2 times last one in summer and in last winter. yes i have changed back to open airfilter to get more sound effect
I see the passat's are good cars. All Diesel engined one's I've been looking for have at least 300,000km on them, before going to newer models or way out of my price range..
Damn. Very impressive. That's more than 20 km/l in a 17 year old car. We get 5,3 l/100km on my dads Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI, but that's a newer car and a bigger engine.

My golf is just running 0.6 - 0.7 in gas and also 1.8 + sportsystem is not harming the fuel, same year as Tonis Passat 97
