Cut the legs off and bolt it on, great way to save weight.
Yeah, still need some of those harnesses, though.

Man you really are tearing into it haha. Can wait to see it done. I really want one myself but they go for way too much over here!
The list of stuff that needs doing is growing out of control >.<
Full mobile pit crew setup going on here...

No lift but who cares when you got massive forklifts and some heavy duty tables and stands! Biggrin
[Image: IMG_20150214_121427_smaller_zpsjpvpzbyh.jpg]

New rear trailing arms.
[Image: IMG_20150214_140539_smaller_zpskyxcn4w1.jpg]

Old ones are both removed..

One of the new trailing arms was already almost fully installed as well but I didn't manage to get a photo of that because the lights got turned off before I got back there with my phone. Work continues tomorrow anyway.
very nice idea to lift up car Tongue
Trust me, i know its safe XD.
It's very safe Biggrin The table can't be destroyed from weight and it holds almost all of the car (engine, dashboard, front seats). Because the car is completely stripped from front seats back (there's no back seat and there's absolutely no trim in the trunk. Biggrin And the car only weighs about 900kg total.

As a bonus we have the forklift keeping the car up as well, it would be impossible for both the stands and the forklift to fail simultaneously!
Seems simple enough to work on. I don't know why Honda abandoned this suspension design. This is what allowed them to handle so well! Volkswagen somehow had the twist beam working for them but that was old tech it wasn't until 99.5 VW started really using semi independent (Not including G60 all wheel drive cars [Golf, Passat, etc])
Finally had some work done on the Honda. Cleaned the oil strainer and centrifugal filter today. Was a pain in my arse, because the crankcase cover was completely stuck, took 3 hours to get it off, then spent an additional 4 hours scraping off the excess gasket on both sides with a guitar pick and an old credit card, before resorting to a screwdriver.

Proved to be worth it though. This needs doing every ~10.000 km cf. the workshop manual, my bike has done 29.550 km now, I bought it at 15.550 km, and I doubt anyone ever did this before me. Anyway, alot of dirt was found in the oil strainer, and oil had grown stuck around the edges of the centrifugal filter, so overall I am happy with the time I've spent on it today.

Now, I wont be sure of the success before tomorrow, where I am going on a small ride to heat up the engine, and test the seal of the new gasket completely.

The car is back on its own wheels. Next week I will adjust the handbrake cables, swap braided brake lines in the front as well and then flush, fill and bleed the system.

Then there's some other stuff to do like installing the catalysator whenever I actually get it from the guy I'm supposed to... And then we will move on to other things.
Snowstorm, -10 degrees F and an iceberg hits and breaks both of my fuel lines. Had to flat tow it home 32 miles because the tow trucks were all in use with snow related accidents!

Therefore I christen that car the Titanicwagen.
There appears to be something missing...

I was just needed to take a photo, darkblue golf vs yellow polo haha
Alright I feel like a total idiot, I have spark, I have fuel, and I have air. My starter is good, my battery is good, my wiring is good. Can my oil weight really be what's preventing my car from starting? We've never had temperatures this cold and 20w50 has never left me hanging before but maybe it's just too cold. It gets down to -10F every night and has been as low as -20F without windchill. I may switch to a 10-30 to see if that eliminates the issue. But I am so confused lol
Blade checked alternator late? Could be that its not charging good
