We drive a kind of sport called "Slalom" with this car, therefore are some sponsors on it Smile

Did you gain these experiences and insights while riding your moped?
#Leonstrikesagain

Nice car, Penny. I assume that's your first ride?

No.

I got the experience by our family a basic Ford in the past, and a Cosworth one too. The basic one kept having problems but the Cosworth one was always ready to go, no need to always think will it blow up when driving to somewhere.

Just my personal opinions.

Toni, don't talk about a car, it's problems and reliability if you haven't owned it. My friend's mother's ex-boyfriend's kid's friend's mom had one doesn't count. People talk shit about cars that they don't own and didn't even have a chance to drive. While actually they're quite fun to drive and reliable as hell..
whatever.

its my own opinion still Smile
I had a Ford so I can say it was a major pain in the bum and spent more time with the cylinder head off than on the roads. And after I sold that car, it really really just broke down altogether. I would list all the things that happened after the Escort left my hands but really it is easier to just say almost everything that I didn't personally touch broke down in the following few months.

Part of the problem was probably the new owner didn't treat it like I did Tongue But still it was pretty bad even though it was awesome to drive while it worked.

*snip* actually they're quite fun to drive and reliable as hell.. *snip*

We had them in canada as well rebranded as "Pontiac LeMans"...

Don't really know what happened to them here but they were the most unreliable cars on the market at that time. Guess the boat ride really killed them Mellow

So you're basing your claim

on your family having owned one Ford?

Your sources would put a doctoral dissertation to shame.

Well, the Escort was a bad car, there's no questioning that. Still a bit much to diss the entire brand on a car that hasn't been made in the last 12 years.
Hmm, the Fords I adore are the Cortina, Capri and the Sierra XR4. Just classic legends. Biggrin

But only if I had £100k to buy a limited edition Sierra XR4 :drools:

Since when did this thread become a Let's critisise Ford and argue about it thread? Last time I checked it was a show us your ride thread.
Fords are shit, Ford Raptor is not. And before anyone comes and asks me if I had a ford, it's a No.

But it's everywhere here in Qatar and I know friends who have it and all I can say is it's a beast in the dunes.

GMC's are sometimes good, never seen them good offroading though.

Best car for offroading is a V8 landcruiser facelifted Smile (yes my brother has one and I've tested it a lot.)
