Mm I get a c clip instead to wastegate can't cost to much.

If another c clip fails, its possible the post is worn. If so, I would get a flat washer, then tack weld that onto the end of the post to keep movement available. You do not want to weld that small pivot point solid.
It almost have 400k so i am not worried about it

im sorry but dont act so stupid, replace C clip properly and stop messing around with cars if your not willing to think about what your doing.

Welding it in place will stop the exhaust gas housing from fully sealing potentially or not opening as far as it should. that or the rod may become bent which is a bigger job to replace or the spring takes additional load.

I.e. you loose mpg or power..

Boost may be all over the place if you do that.

p.s. you have a oil leak or a few.

Would daily.

This one taken from a ride out with an MCC today - the only reason why I'm not running straight pipe is so I don't deafen everyone. Alone, those mufflers come off! Probably about -12'c after wind chill factor! Loved it though. Tongue

The Seat is finally back alive, no more goofed up rear axle!

Heres some project pics.

Parts/things changed:

- Rear axle
- Rear brake pads
- Rear Brake lines
- Brake fluid
- New winter tyres (studless, the ones i bought before wouldnt fit haha, thankly got my money back)
- Brake light sensor
- right driveshaft
- some interior parts

Still need to change:

Rear left brake light
Install the engine cover
Install passenger side "tray" in the interior
Change the gear stick leather
Install rear speakers
Oils

Feels so damn strange driving this thing again and seeing that the rear tyre is not all cambered and goofed up haha!
Toni, honestly. The more you post here, the more it looks like My Summer Car with new graphics.
Like My cousin Said, you should make a game called "My shitty Seat"

Nick, maybe you should show us more of that restoration project you are carrying out... On a modern Volvo.

Although what makes Furry's post worse is that his joke was already made a a couple of posts above, much like Frank's, also Frank LOL good job.
