Grille not in place due to a damn rock flying into it from a truck, already had to buy a new headlight for the left side due to it shattering in the same impact....

And the bonnet is painted and rust fixed from the front by the ex owner... decent job but could of painted it better....

Just a few pics of le evo (and AJ's old saab) now that I got it back, finally!

Bumpers, skirts and engine bay will be re-painted later, as well as the black parts will be polished, and carbon parts will be re-lacquered

Bought some Honda/OZ (can't really figure out the name of them. Both Honda and OZ are cast into the backside of the rim) 16" alloys for the Accord for just 30£. Drives nice and just needs new tyres on the rears. I think they freshen up the car nicely.

They're made by OZ for Honda. Car manufacturers almost never make any wheels inhouse.

Oh come on!? I mean the U.K., yeah you can get cars cheap but their crappy ones. The only good ones are like going to Japan trying to find genuine mustangs. Very rare. And then of course you get some VW Lupos, which I can say I am very into. But come on!?

You could easily get a P1 V70 like that for <£1000 in the UK, peasant spec ones go for £500 with an MoT. You just need to actually look.

Fair do. I found a "Carolla" on AutoTrader for £155 this morning.... you can see it on the 'Cars And Coffee' server.... that's if you like silent, electric cars.......

DJmad, a Passat 3B is a tired old car littered with issues. They're not expensive, nor are they generally worth the effort.
