No, it's the color of the message background which is just too light.
Someone should go into the .css of the forum to edit it.
I'm sure Chuck or another forum admin is on it.

Tried any of the other forum layouts?

It's the .trow2 section if you didn't know yet.
I just did, Josh, but they don't change anything really. Same colour patterns, only different one is [TC] CityDriving Retro.

If your monitor cannot display the white names on the following skins:
[TC] CityDriving
[TC] CityDriving Narrow
[TC] CityDriving Wide
Use either:
[TC] CityDriving Retro
OR
[TC] CityDriving Lite
They work fine on those skins.
It is virtually impossible to find a skin that will display all colours of names properly for obvious reasons.

Old Forum colour patterns worked fine.

Still basically the same imo... Could do with being a bit darker.

Better not perfect. Maybe adjust your screen to correct colors (Contrast and so on).
As said, I'm working on it.

on Samsung screens the MagicColor option is the one which makes the colors hard to read
2011-10-02, 21:51
Another thing you can do is change your screen settings to make the colours stand out more.
2011-10-02, 21:51
The forums are on for like a day... let them change everything untill its good lol. it takes alot of time
2011-10-02, 21:52
I got the same thing vee, but I've got my screen contrast on full which I know is the reason why I can't see white, but turning the contrast down allows me to see the names if i want to. So maybe you should check your contrast settings
2011-10-02, 21:53
Ah I thought that too, however I went ahead and just changed the white to silver in our team list so we wouldn't have that problem.. quick cheap fix
2011-10-02, 21:55
My monitor settings are fine..
2011-10-02, 21:57
This is my reason why I can't see white, maybe you got something like this vee maybe, just thought I'd post to why I can't see white but I like my settings

The one that only really works is 'CD Retro', however the only one I find appealing is 'Lite'/
