Speed limit on BL - KooKoo - 2015-05-14 08:39

Hi,

I don't know if anyone else noticed but devils corner speed limit is 120 while the road longer than devils corner speed limit is 80kph.

I think this was switched around? Because an XRG/XRT can't reach 120kph in Devils Corner.

It's a speed limit, not a speed target. IRL you will also have speed limits which are too fast for the actual conditions (i.e. 60mph national speedlimit).

That being said, this might've been a mistake but it doesn't bother me either way.

I remember before it was 80kph if i'm not mistaken.

At Avon Crest the speed is limited at 100 suddenly instead of 120 which it was before.

As BP said, some country roads wind like hell and there is no way that you could steer round them at national speed limit!!!

Indeed it's a speed limit and not a target, but actually on all other parts its possible to reach the speedlimit to get the full +4, here it's not.

+1 for decreasing to 80 kp/h again!

It is annoying the fact it is related to earning money, you have to stay close, Or simply pass as fast as you can to maybe keep earnings @+5 With a 25% Restricted XFG/XRG.

Well, let's look at it; Peoples passing as fast as they can will simply cause troubles like ignoring sirens as they don't wanna stop and anyway, Devils corner isn't really a big area, so why not 80 kp/h ?

With respect, it's quite easy to forget, when the track changes.

I have raised this issue internally and hopefully some speedlimits are amended accordingly.

Also, please note there are only 2 admins who can actually change speedlimits.

Sorry for the big bump but its been a few months now? The speed limit on devils corner should be 80kmh, 120kmh is just too much. I also like to laser people there, can this be fixed soon please?

BP basically explained this pretty well. I see what you mean about wanting to laser people there but imo I much prefer it at 75.

The problem is that the speed limit is based on what we earn money on, and passing devils corner @ the speed of 120 km/h is just impossible even with a BF1.
