For a moment there I thought you have got another ThinkPad hahaha.

Nice pad though :3

Haha, thanks mate. Very similar words indeed - was hoping somebody would catch it. Thumbup W00t

Looks good though, I think my friend had the same one (or very similar) on his CBR.

Got a new Dell XPS 1640!

Specs:
- Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz
- 2x2GB Mushkin 1066MHz DDR3 ram
- 500GB Seagate Momentum harddrive
- ATI Radeon HD4670M 512MB graphics card
- 1920x1080 Full HD RGB-LED (That's really good!) 16'' screen
- 2.1 speaker system (2 speakers and a subwoofer) in the laptop itself

I got it really cheap because it didn't include a power adapter, the screw holding the power jack in place is gone and the threading is gone as well. There's a piece of plastic missing on the lid, there's plastic missing on the sides, there's no more rubber feet underneath, four keyboard keys are missing, the screen-plastic-cover is full of scratches and marks, the battery doesn't work, and the casing is in a general very poor condition.

But it still works, which is the main point of it, so the laptop has been well-designed, as all the hardware works perfectly.

My plans are to either use it at home as a mediacenter (as it actually has got an HDMI output, compared to many Thinkpads which hasn't....), or sell it on for a profit, or finally rebuild part of it and then sell it on.

Cola without a Thinkpad! O.o

My new stuff, for 25 euros on Kingsday: (In The Netherlands, many people sell second hand things on the street during Kings/Queensday.) It's a Dutch tradition, and I got this:

A Minolta XD 5, with a 28mm f2.8 and a 135mm f3.5 lens for 20€, and a weird French camera that takes 6x6 negatives to make it work for 5 euros.
Just for the look of it, its cool. Smile

That looks like some pretty nice stuff for 25€ Smile

Btw. I still have the Thinkpads. Tongue

Hmm is that an Airsoft or a real one? Very nice though :3

11 Hours in Walsall yesterday doing a Jitsu Randori Competition in the higher grade category (Green+) Had a few shots of me in it but I'm not sharing them Tongue

The competition consisted of 2 sections depending on grades. Because of my category we did the Standing fighting and Ground fighting. I came 3rd in both which I was pleased about because a few of the people there had some serious BJJ and Judo experience, size and weight was also a problem lol. I entered the Open competition but only lasted 40 seconds against a brown belt and lost the comp.

I had one of those, I miss it Sad

Mine had an i7m, 8GB RAM and an ATi Radeon HD 4670, it was a beast whilst it lasted. Mine is aesthetically perfect though unlike that heap of shit you just bought.

I got this engine from my dad, he have lost intressed to clean up engines now, so i will get this finish and then swap into golf, compressor engine 1.8Liters some have around 220hp-250hp. it fit to golf same spot and everything

RE: Something New You've Got... - Blade3562 - 2014-04-28 15:45

Looks great. Same motor that's currently in my mk1. I see high compression pistons so you better have a solid lifter head and a high performance cam! If you do you should easily be in the 150-180 range with natural aspiration.

RE: Something New You've Got... - Jimmy - 2014-04-28 16:04

Yep, compressor air intake right or close into carburator so it will do there job to run up better

And here is little compressor to the golf heavy thing taped so no dust or nothing else can damage it
