Specs are as follows:

AMD FX8350 Black Edition 4GHz Processor
Gigabyte 970A-DS3P AMD 970 Motherboard
G-Skill Ripjaws 8GB DDR3 2133MHz RAM

All powered by a Corsair CX600 Power Supply, wrapped up in a Fractal Design R4 case.

I'll be transplanting my current graphics card, hard drives and optical drives until I gather up a few more pennies to replace them with something decent, but it's a step in the right direction so far.

Expect a post in the Thread of Fail when I catastrophically break something.

Nice setup. With a decent graphics card, it should perform pretty well. Thumbup1

Serously? Omg haha

Found a new stash of pretty hi-fi audio equipment for grabs, so here they are.

Nice setup, but I have some words of warning: I have that same motherboard and don't expect to overclock at all. It simply can't handle anything over 4GHz (with my 8320 and H212+).

Good luck with your build!

And lol Cola, more laptops???

I decided I've been a good little boy so I bought myself another treat.

Coming from an S3, anything is an upgrade Tongue plus the waterproofing will come in handy on one of my wet days I get helping with track days.

Worth. It.

RE: Something New You've Got... - Ash - 2014-05-13 11:41

Got a Z1 myself too, god damn awful phone I have decided. Android is absolute pants compared to iOS, seriously I am sick and tired of the phone constantly crashing, deciding to set my alarm tone to maximum volume at 2.45am regardless that I set the volume to minimum.

The phone itself has a great camera, when it decides it actually wants to focus.

Totally regret my upgrade, stuck with this piece of rubbish for another 18 months Sad

RE: Something New You've Got... - Howlin - 2014-05-13 14:38

Well, I'm with Dowpy i have one and I think it's a great phone

Don't know why yours sucks Ash but i've found it to be a very nice phone Sad

RE: Something New You've Got... - Luke - 2014-05-13 14:46

Send it back in Ash, unfortunately, shit phones come off the production line sometimes.

Generally the phone should work perfectly after been rated one of the quickest and most stable android phones up to date :/

RE: Something New You've Got... - Audiojack - 2014-05-13 15:16

Talking about Android as an OS I haven't had any trouble with my HTC One SV for a year or so. The only times it has "crashed" have been during intense heat and usage (sitting on my dashboard as a GPS unit in the summer) Smile

RE: Something New You've Got... - RedJohn - 2014-05-13 15:21

HTCs are the best smartphones , I guess it's not the OS but the device running it

RE: Something New You've Got... - Jappe - 2014-05-13 15:33

I've had the HTC Legend, HTC HD2 and the HTC One X, and now i've got an iPhone 4S. God damn iOS is the best thing i've ever used, and i don't think it'll change soon

And yet I've been having problems with mine since day one.

RE: Something New You've Got... - Ras - 2014-05-13 15:36

The HTC i used to have caused quite a bit of trouble. I ended up being completely tired of it.
