On the subject of button clutch I'd say have it explicitly for keyboard only users, since they are at a huge disadvantage of steering anyway

RE: GTI @ SO6 - Discussion - Sam - 2016-12-12 02:00

Adding an additional button to use multiple times in a lap whilst driving isn't going to help them, well that and keyboard by design is very slow. regardless, button clutch will not be allowed.

Why would mouse/keyboard users not user auto-clutch though? I mean, I sometimes use manual button clutch when cruising but certainly not when racing.

In this respect, there shouldn't have to be an argument for the use of button clutch.

If you get a some practise you can gain up to half a second a lap depending on track and car, say Gti @ Aston GP, you are much faster changing meaning that less time is lost without a gear.

Until one of us can get online to fix the "lockdown" issue on tc-r 2, please practice offline in singleplayer mode.

I think I sorted it remotely. Can someone check?

I entered the spec command twice. There was some crappy lag or something, I'm really sorry that I couldn't get him out...

It looks like he was returned to windows and timed out due to his PC freezing or something. There's no way he did that on purpose.

I think you're right Biggrin

RE: GTI @ SO6 - Discussion - Botsi - 2016-12-14 00:01

Surely I would have teamplayed with Sam and Troy if I had known that bump drafting is allowed. Smile In every race I have participated it has been prohibited so didn't really want to take part in it. I'm not saying it should have been prohibited, I just didn't know if it is or not.

Anyway, it was good intense racing. Some touches here and there, it's not a big surprise with that track and car.

RE: GTI @ SO6 - Discussion - Huski - 2016-12-14 07:58

Sorry again that I couldn't make it, traffic in Horncastle is awful.
