[TC] Racing will be taking part in pre-qualifying for round 3 of the GenR Turbo Trophy this weekend.
Pre-qualifying commences tonight at 8pm and we'll know whether we're racing by 8pm on Saturday.

Round 5 of the Turbo Trophy was our most successful race to date.

As it happened
Pre-qualifying went well getting 2 of us in the top 5. Qualifying was a tense battle between Savy and Lahteenmaki. Savy took pole by nearly a tenth! Lamp took 5th by two tenths and Elmo took 12th. The first race was intense and there was a lot of battling up front. Savy took an impressive win to make it his first league race podium. He narrowly missed a win in race 2 but still, a very successful evening for [TC] Racing our largest points haul so far.
[TC] Racing are now 3rd in the Turbo Trophy team championship standings
(Savy 4th, Lamp 6th, Sean 9th, Elmo 30th in the driver championship)

As it happened
Pre-qualifying was relatively poorly attended meaning Lamp got the #82 FXO up to 4th. Qualifying went better than expected after a relatively lucky opening lap put Lamp 3rd where he stayed for the remainder of the 20 minute session. The first stint of the race was awful, Lamp dropping 2 places before an early pitstop on lap 27. This left the tyres to battle on through a 45 lap 2nd stint. Astonishingly the gap to 3rd & 4th place was only 2 seconds when he crossed the line after a consistent and quick second stint.
[TC] Racing finished the GenR Turbo Trophy in 2nd place! This gives us automatic entry into the GenR 9 Hours of Aston Historic Reversed race later this year.

Elmo scores the first points for [TC] Racing in the inaugural round of Genuine Racing's GTi Trophy at BL1, coming 28th out of 43 entrants.

Genuine Racing - GTi Trophy 2013 - Round 2 - A22R (Open Configuration)
Elmo & Lamp competed in round 2 of the GTi Trophy at A22R, an open configuration track consisting of parts of AS1 and AS2R. Lamp finished 7th and Elmo finished 22nd out of 30 starters.

Genuine Racing - GTi Trophy 2013 - Round 3 - SO4
Savy, Elmo & Lamp competed in round 3, 20 laps of SO4. Savy finished 6th, Lamp 8th & Elmo 24th. This puts us 6th in the overall team standings at the half way stage of the season!

Only just held him off. We were side by side over the line. I had him by less than a metre.

yeah ricardo said he didnt enjoy that race much tbh and he knew the xfg would be so strong. I expected you to do much better
