Treated myself, while the game is 15% off. The reviews were great and I'm sure it will be good fun for a while. Smile

Its a great game, you'll enjoy it for sure, just don't pay attention to the pace notes on some stages.

Just ordered myself one of these:

64GB OnePlus 2, 4GB ram and a 1.8Ghz quad core processor, also going to get myself a contract sim, can get one with unlimited texts and calls + 4GB Data for £10 a month.

Next up is a new monitor, anyone got any recommendations in the sales? (UK).
Min specs should be: Full HD, 24inch or bigger, 1ms input lag.

Good call Shikari, let me know how you like it when it arrives.

I treated myself to a new packlite jacket.

Got a new mouse today, was time to get rid of the £3 backup mouse I got when my old one broke. I went with the Logitech G300s
[Image: logitech-gaming-mice-g300s.png]
Heard good things about it, looking forward to trying it out.

Also got a new headset so I can now talk to people again, it was an offbrand one (Maxtek) but had one before and it was good, still looking for a monitor, if anyone knows of any let me know.

Yup, it's clearly a duff one, the performance wasn't great compared to my mate's which is the same card.

Going to look at a house today. The cost for a cheap loan/mortgage is more affordable than renting or leasing an apartment 1/3 the size. Parents are on board with it!

Its pretty much the same thing here. Unfortunately, you almost need 50% of the value of the house as a cash-down in order to get a mortgage. Banks are scared these days Mellow

The hardest part for me is finding a house with a garage or enough property to build one. A garage only costs around $5,000-$7,500 USD to build but I never realized how small lots are when you get closer to the city lol.

New NAS/Desktop/Basic Gaming PC ordered. Taken inspiration from this: http://youtu.be/dpXhSrhmUXo

Part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/camerontawn/saved/JcjzK8

The NAS is for offsite backup for my dad when I go home again, also needed something less power hungry for general interwebbing Wink Also more than powerful to play LFS.

You're buying 5 1TB HDD's?

I see them installing them inside a cage in the video, but 5 drives? Ohmy

You are going to be running a server or something?

RE: Something New You've Got... - Renegade - 2016-01-02 00:14

5 1TB HDD's? Haha, why? I would have gotten 3 3TB HDD's. lel
