RE: A lifetime experience!! 2012 Nissan GTR R35 - Special - 2012-01-04 22:02 The fact it has "settings" is exactly my point! nor do I consider pressing a paddle manual shifting Dont get me wrong, its a great car, i just dont see the appeal of owning one. RE: A lifetime experience!! 2012 Nissan GTR R35 - McGherkin - 2012-01-05 00:28 Special, your car is from the 18th century, you could be Amish and own one RE: A lifetime experience!! 2012 Nissan GTR R35 - Rifo - 2012-01-05 02:49 Special, todays world is full of technology. If you wish to stay behind then its your choice. RE: A lifetime experience!! 2012 Nissan GTR R35 - Crille - 2012-01-05 03:12 I understand you special. As pure driving experience goes I would prefer something like a F40 to a GT-R, not that I will get the chance to ever make that decision but... "Ahhhhhhhh" Haha Looked like great fun. Im pretty curious about your exploded M3 though. RE: A lifetime experience!! 2012 Nissan GTR R35 - Rifo - 2012-01-05 06:35 Well my M3 exploded and i couldn't find parts anywhere to restore it back. Was driving normally on 4000rpms on 3rd gear and suddenly engine went KABOOM and car was pulled back as if i was towing a ship and suddenly the rope went from loose to super tight. I almost crashed tbh but i managed to save it. After diagnosis, it appears that piston #6 had jammed which made the main connecting rod spin out of its place firing the piston out of the block, through the gearbox and out of the car it self. The internal explosion shockwave destroyed all the chains, which means a destroyed VANOS unit. So i had an exploded engine, damaged sequential gearbox & a ruined VANOS. I was willing to fix it (which would cost me around 10,000US but i couldn't find parts anywhere so i was like screw it and bought my self a 2011 Nissan Maxima fully loaded. Dont knock it until youve tried it RE: A lifetime experience!! 2012 Nissan GTR R35 - Crille - 2012-01-05 15:30 Daym that gotta suck. Any reason why the piston jammed? I bet there is a bit of performance gap between your M3 and the Nissan Maxima? RE: 2012 Nissan GT-R Driving Experience - Pics/Vids Included - Rifo - 2012-01-26 04:06 Ye crille, the Ferrari 458 Italia. I was the camera car 2012 Ferrari FF - Rifo - 2012-04-30 05:40 Well, my latest driving experience was the all new Ferrari FF. V12, 650HP, awesome dual clutch 7 speed transmission. Car is big and heavy. From dig, it accelerates to 100km in about 3.7secs using launch control. Revs really quick from low RPMs though, has a massive torque. But rolls a bit on corners, the body roll could've been better. Their main concern was to make a family sports coupe successoring the old 612 Scaglietti. Its only problem is that the engine is not well isolated, so the bottom part of the front driver/passenger heats up after time. You feel your feet are being cooked, I had to turn the foot A/C to solve this issue. Other than that, perfect. Yes could be used a daily driver, no issues on bumps, gear is smooth, ride is comfort. BUT, it is bit over priced.. 390,000 US$ Pics to come.. This will be featured in EVO Magazine.
