Saying you could have done it from actually doing it are two completely different things.
2013 is 2013, the improved chicane for this race (2015, we do not live in 2013 anymoa boi) slowed the cars down enough.

Yeah you didn't take into account the fact that qualifying was with race fuel so no one did any laps with 5-10% fuel and, as Mouse said, the chicane made the lap much slower (and A LOT more interesting).

Was a fun race, just wish I had more people to compete with due to my DT. Tongue

wasnt hotlap, would of been a cargame race since it was done at 1am ..

A Cargame race is what, typically 7-8 laps? You hardly have to worry about tires or fuel in those races. This race was 27 laps long, and quali was done with race fuel/setup, in my case I use 80% fuel then added 50% on my pit stop on lap 5/6, and that brought my tank up to 98%.

The car game layout doesn't have the extra wall at the chicane, so that adds a lot of time on to the lap as you can't cut half of the first and second bit of it out, you have to slow the car right down, then turn in and you can't even cut it half as much on the second part of the corner.

LFS is not nearly half as strict on tires of as the race admins are, you can go 4 tires off, cross the yellow pit box line and such. While the admins of CL don't allow more that 2 tires in the dirt, which is much slower than what LFS hot laps/races/non admin races allow. W00t

im aware of how to manage tyres, i have done my fair share of endurance races in lfs over the years, i wasnt comparing anything.

i never knew there was an extra object or whatever added to the chicane, however if it does slow u down then most peoples PBs on the tracker will also be Pbs done at a previous date when the track was at its fastest.
