New Fine - Goofy - 2014-03-12 05:31

gg hi

RE: New Fine - Connor - 2014-03-12 07:09

I guess this makes sense since irl, if you call the police with no reason they can arrest you or fine you. Its annoying when people do this and don't get anything for it and it doesn't happen too often so I don't see why we couldn't have this.

+1 (for now)

RE: New Fine - Olli - 2014-03-12 07:47

+1 from me also.

RE: New Fine - Chuck - 2014-03-12 08:29

I've called so many times and nobody ever cared for it. There should be a fine for that.

RE: New Fine - Jimmy - 2014-03-12 08:35

I like this idea to +1

RE: New Fine - Luke™ - 2014-03-12 09:03

I think police would care alot more if we were allowed to use our sirens to get there fast. The problem is, is that when we get called, we aren't allowed to get to the scene quickly, so by the time we get there the situation has ended. I would like to be able to deal with calls like that more, but unfortunately I can't because we can't get there quickly enough.

I'm with Chuck.

RE: New Fine - Chuck - 2014-03-12 10:27

Well, the role-playing aspect for cops could indeed use a little touch up.

True.

Reasonable fine, +1.

This..

RE: New Fine - Kille - 2014-03-12 15:35

That will be good +1

RE: New Fine - Luke - 2014-03-12 15:40

Personally, I find the situations a little challenging for cops, some of the reasons why the Police are called are quite pointless to be honest so yes it would be a good idea to add a fine for it. As said, cops are not allowed to respond to the situation with a Blue Light Run like VCU's can so a lot of the time the cops struggle getting to the scene but then again not many cops actually respond to these calls and I think this could be due to cops not knowing how to handle the situation. As a trainer we do not teach these things in training, so there's a possibility of making mistakes in a situation which could lead to admin action therefore putting cops off from the role playing aspect of it which is unfortunate.

I think it should be added to the Police guide on how to handle the calls and also a fine if the call is abused.

Biggrin Biggrin Biggrin Biggrin

RE: New Fine - Sadie - 2014-03-12 16:16

An other idea could be adding a fine for driving in wrong lane on AB. Just an idea

Well, since actually 0% (in words: "ZERO") stay in lane around the track, it would just criminalise people.

RE: New Fine - Edwin - 2014-03-12 16:49

Yes I think more cops would respond if they were allowed to speed and have sirens on when responding. After that we could implement that as more cops will respond to the situation.

RE: New Fine - Warped - 2014-03-12 17:26

About the responding with sirens on, I have already found an issue on it. It could be only more difficult to cops that are already in a chase, screen spamming the other sirens would make one's work demanding. Also, it could be abused by one "prank calling" his friend cop to speed to other side of the map with sirens on for no reason.

RE: New Fine - Sadie - 2014-03-12 18:02

Maybe if just 1-2 cops could respond?
