This is great Dave, I actually wish I was that good at drumming. Seems some people have that talent to keep a steady beat, and you have it, good sir.

Where are you drumming? That would be sick if you had that setup in your house, instead of driving to a studio or something.

I'm trying to get hold of a set of drum mics and a multi channel input for use at home so I can do more recordings, and on my kit at home (which is significantly better than the one I was using at college Tongue )

Well, I started in 2003 when I got a drum kit for christmas, passed my Grade 1 in 2004 (Distinction), passed my Grade 5 in 05 (Pass), then kinda gave up (I still played, but I didn't have any bands, I didn't practice at all, I didn't really do any drumming at all).

Picked it up midway through last year when I joined a band for the first time ever, and so properly (not just learning stuff purely for grades), I've been playing for about 1 year and 5 months. I already had quite a lot of the skills needed like, stored in my head from when I first played, but 5 years is a long time and I've progressed a lot since I restarted last year Smile
