drift event? - Pinkz - 2014-09-27 21:31

I was thinking {yes another drift idia}
that tc server 1 could have a drift event
going from G13 bridge west
through
f12 the steeps
f13 the steeps
to
f12 lower bay side
f11 lower bay side
or some other place

i dont know who wiil judge

I guess the TC guys could organize something with their HwA tags.

They could block of a section off the track.

or..

A whole event could be hosted on the Events server.

But you must remember

TC CityDriving does not support Drifting.

RE: drift event? - Pinkz - 2014-09-27 21:38

or H8 THE villa and h6 the villa?

hey the houl drift thing is not sopported so

but i dont see why not its a fun idea and competitive

like seriosly why not?

is it too difficult to do?

but like what about klipping points?

RE: drift event? - Connor - 2014-09-27 22:13

Well TC did something similar in Weston Park where a bunch of them put HwA tags on and hosted a 'drag' race on the Highway 2 road, closing one side of it for this purpose. I guess, if you're lucky and there's enough of them on at one time, they could do something similar. But it couldn't take up too much of the track, you want the other people who don't drift to still be able to drive normally.

Have you ever tried anything but drifting?

This.

Why not just grab a few mates and have it illegally?
Of course you would need to be careful of other drivers as to not end up breaking server rules, but if you make the competition yourself on the cruise servers, you're

a) Having a drift competition (the original goal) and
b) giving [COP]'s and [HwA]'s an opportunity to do their job with something new.

Who knows, they might let it happen for a while and then all rush the event at once with a bust, could be fun for both the drifters and the police.

-1, TC isn't a drifting server.

+1, we did a little racing event last night and TC one isn't a racing server. So why not a little drift one someday ?

Waaait, are cops allowed to close the roads?

RE: drift event? - BP - 2014-09-28 09:56

[COP]s should not really close the roads for the sake of events, that should really be [HwA] as a.) the role fits better and b.) it's [TC] only so everything is very controlled and sensible.

That's, I believe, how it was during yesterday's on-server event.
