Real car setups for LFS - Toni - 2014-10-26 20:11

So, I started making real car setups (50-75% replica) for LFS, and i thought i would share the fun of the setups with you guys. All of the cars have atleast factory gear ratios, horsepower and weight, the suspension stiffness and other settings are hard to find, so i just made them up from the "feel" and thoughts how the car would feel.
Remember, these setups are not for racing, just for cruising.

New setups are made time by time, and requests for setups are welcome (everything goes, if i can find the needed specifications for the car in question)

Ill fix it for the 2nd version Wink

RE: Real car setups for LFS - McGherkin - 2014-10-26 21:50

From what I can tell, not bad. Can't comment on the suspension though, mine's far from standard Tongue

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Toni - 2014-10-26 21:56

Some more setups added, fixed Golf GL suspension to be more soft as request of Jim.

More setups coming tomorrow.

Talking about the RS Clio set i see Wink Atleast the turning is good, for me atleast ;D
Going by the way that if its a sport version of the car, it will have a bit stiffier suspension, and if its a road car, its a bit more "loose".

But yeah, enjoy the setups!

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Weelob - 2014-10-27 03:35

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Toni - 2014-10-27 14:26

No problem Viltsu Wink Added some more again, probably going to release some more by midnight (part 4)

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Toni - 2014-10-28 15:04

Part 4 added, Mainly BMW 3 and 5 Serie setups for XRG and XRT, but also has some LX4-6 Caterham setups.

If someone has some "self made" real car setups and wants to share them, just pm the links for me and ill add them for the next part Wink

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Olli - 2014-10-28 16:49

Not sure if it's only me, but i find it a bit confusing what is in which pack. Would be nice if you could clearly have them on a list example "pack one contains all the XRT and XRG setups".

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Toni - 2014-10-28 16:53

Well, the thread subject is kind of the clue to what is in this "pack"

So, just to say it again,

Its LFS Car setups (.SET) files, the ones you can edit if you want to.

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Olli - 2014-10-28 16:59

My bad had a spelling mistake on my previous post had "sounds" instead of "setups".
Yes i know this thread is all about setups. My point was whats the difference between the packs. What does pack 1 contain in etc. Say for example i would like to download this setup "Nissan 370Z Nismo" i don't know which pack should i download. No more off topic from my side, i hope you got my point this time.

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Toni - 2014-10-28 17:04

Oh, now i get what you mean.

Differences between packs is basically nothing, its just setups in every "pack".

Nismo 370z is in pack 2 IIRC.

Might aswell go and make the current setups into one big pack and then start making the second "pack"

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Penny_Menny - 2014-10-28 20:55

Why is the Kadett GSi a XRG? The Kadett has FWD and looks more like the XFG than XRG?

Anyway, great work, keep it up man !! Smile

RE: Real car setups for LFS - Toni - 2014-10-28 21:19

Just wanted to even up the setups a little, I can make it for the XFG also if you want to.
