Westhill layout suggestion - Turkey - 2012-01-08 01:47

Current Layout:

Suggestion:

Reasons for adjusting the layout:

1. When people clip the tires they often move into the path of other drivers, causing crashes. This is why I've removed the tires.

2. When people hit the small barriers, they often cause a pile up with the traffic behind. This is due to people hitting the small barriers head on, then instantly stopping and completely blocking the path for traffic to get though. This is why I've suggested using barriers at an angle that will guide the crashing car away from the narrow area instead of trapping it there. Of course they could be adjusted to a different angle if they caused crashing cars to be directed towards the left side of the road. A longer central barrier could also be used.

Why isn't Turkey designing our layouts? Seriously, that's some pretty smart thinking,

To slow people down i guess... instead of a plain straight road/the old layout.

If I use common sense I won't be dangerous because I'm a bit over the limit... I think thats not better than speeding, thats all...

RE: Westhill layout suggestion - Tommer - 2012-01-08 12:22

I agree with Zsolt because i've always been off the opinion that the less tight a layout is the more space there is to go around crashed cars and thus safer, but that's my opinion.

RE: Westhill layout suggestion - Street - 2012-01-08 12:35

If we have good drivers on the server then you have no need to worry...

Yeah, I'll get the whole thing removed right away
