Photoshop Question - Knight - 2012-01-17 07:25

Hey guys,

So ive left my PC at home and have my MAC, just got the CS5 on it and well its abit Cursing Cursing Cursing Well Ive been getting around to my WIP skin since its raining on holidays.

Anyway ive been working on a police skin for ages and ive dug it up from my hard drive.

This is the car im remaking it, All is done exept one thing.
The curve through the POLICE on the side of the door with it arch into the point. Now I was looking for a way to remake the two stripes.

I can do that with Paint.net , though won't look that good lol.
What I usually do is make a base figure, then fill it up.
As in, make the outer parts, then fill it up with the white color. After this you magic wand the stripes, and use the gradient (?) function to do the fading.

Pen tool. Go search for tutorials on it.

Yea I've tried tommer. I'll look some more, most of the tuts are old, any suggestions?

You could try the free transform tool but it might not come out exactly like that.

pen tool > hold left ctrl and you can do whatever you want Smile

I know that speed, The problem is ive changed from using my PC at home to my MAC away on holidays, I thought someone might have used a mac to skin.

Thanks BB, It might help abit, I use a older version at home, so idk with this new CS5. And besides i have layers on my home pc that literally have exactly that stripe im looking for Laugh

Oh well time to learn Biggrin

Im still havong issues with this, is there any other way i could do this? Or any good tut for a Mac user?
