Do just want the numbers seven and eight binded on the paddles, or are you speaking of the turn signal program?

Well if there is a program that will switch them on and then when i press it again then they will turn off or when i straighten the wheel and they will turn off then that would be handy

Check whether that program still works on the newest version of the game.

Use cycling commands. Setup a bind for 7, 8 and 0. Then set the left paddle as 7 then 0 and the right as 8 and 0.

This does mean you have to press the paddle twice, but it's almost guaranteed to work in any version of lfs.

Scroll down to post #7, Elmo posted a script that does exactly that.
