First race for grid 1 was decent. Second race for grid 1 was rather interesting, switched things up completely. I was praying for Pete not to crash in the second race, but the unexpected happened when he was side by side with Roland/Ronald(?) Biggrin

Second race on Grid 2 was interesting as well, people seemed to give up easier and leave whilst others just seemed to not care about causing crashes.

Was 10th in the first race and somehow 6th in the second despite everyone around me having a fastest lap that was half a second quicker, not quite the 2nd place I got last time in grid 2 but I think things went okay and I didn't end up on my roof. Should have really practiced properly....

Not looking forward to the next round, but I'm going to start learning the car track now as I have a total of 0 laps with it. Any one have (Preferably a race set) a set I can use? and any tips for the chicane?

All 3 of us came out of the first chicane in a line and Martin had a bad exit so I lifted and braked a little so as not to hit him. Ronald didn't react in time and we went into the wall. That was my race over pretty much.

Mouse drivers, I have made a setup that will work better. This set is for QUALIFYING ONLY. It is based on the world record set, the following have been changed:
Brakes
  • Maximum Per Wheel from 1900(Nm) to 1775(Nm);
  • Brake Balance from 67(%) to 70(%).
Suspension
  • Rear Anti Roll bar from 80(N/mm) to 87(N/mm);
  • Front Anti Roll bar from 75(N/mm) to 100(N/mm).

It's a great combo I think. The car gets along so well with it and if you find the right lines, you'll learn to love it. I just kept on doing lap after lap until I got to know the car, then I could see how amazing it got on with the track.

I have to agree. This combo (XRR@AS4) is awesome when you nail a lap.

PB is a 2:18.11 so far. A 17 shouldn't be far off.

I've been doing laps with a race set on race fuel to get used to the track and get my line down to try build some kind of consistency, or should I be on the quali set right from the start?

Do stints with the race setup, it is better to be consistent than trying to nail one fast lap that doesn't mean much.

That what I am doing, I've been trying to build up a line and get consistent at it as before this I had done a total of 0 laps with this combo

Going to do more laps now if anyone wants to join, hopefully get into the 18's, so close last time just need a clean lap.
