Looks like the optical encoder wheel is broken. You can get a cheap replacement here:

However if the encoder wheel is slightly cracked, but otherwise fine, you can just glue it in place. I had a similar hair crack on the G25 and quick movements made the encoder wheel loose grip on the shaft. You can check if the misalignment gets worse when you do rapid movements in a game.

Those wheels are hardly meant for professional gameplay. They are entry level wheels and as such have a limited life expectancy. Want more? Spend more!

Common sense. Quality very rarely comes cheap.

Just got more luck. I send my wheel back to the company for repairs where it arrived two days ago but now they have lost the package, and there is no progress until they find it... What should have taken 3 days may now take weeks...

Well over the phone I did try to get myself a G29 but I had to break one more before I could return it. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED xD (Easy challenge)
No also they have this policy that you can return a product within 14 days and the coolest is that once they send me a new wheel back the receive says it bought that day, so I am gonna try return it and see if that works and then get the G29 for a few bucks extra!

RE: Logitech G27 just over one month old - Don - 2015-08-10 23:28

I can't believe it! They are sending me a new one.
Sadly I am still not lucky yet, they send it to the wrong address....
I called them, I put a notice inside and on the package even on an A4 page with like font size 40 letters about my address change but they still send it to the wrong address... So now it will take an extra few days to get it back and a few phone calls....

Am I really that unlucky? Tongue

Just when I thought I was getting lucky with my wheel on it's way to my house! Only it should have been delivered between 12 and 2pm, it's getting close to 5 now and still no package! Even saw a delivery van drive by my house earlier today! But lets hope it will still come today! Sad

Pro tip: don't open it and sell it for a G29.
