You require a valid [COP] licence in order to take training. To gain a licence, you need to pass a multiple-choice exam.

To start the exam, please enter a [TC] CityDriving server:

  1. Head to a Safe Zone and click the HOME button, then click "Licenses".
  2. Click "Sign Up" next to the [COP] licence
  3. You will be asked to confirm (it will cost €2500). Click OK
  4. Follow the link shown in chat, or enter the unique code here.
  5. Read the instructions at the top of the exam carefully.

Note: If you fail the exam, you will have to wait a minimum of 7 days before trying again.

Thanks!

Basic Training - Luis - Carl - 2015-10-18 11:51

Training Information:

Took place on: 18/10/2015

Trainer(s) Present: Nismo [T], Howlin [T]

Assistance Present: Barney [CA]

Lead Trainer: Nismo [T]

Good Points: During training you picked up on the maneuvers well and you were able to perform all of them. In the final chase you made good attempts and PIT maneuver and Two Car Box.

Improvements: Car control was one of the things that let you down in the final chase. Your tires were too hot and as the chase went on you were losing lots of traction. You need to work on your throttle control to stop the tires spinning so much. Along with that, you may also want to find a more appropriate driving line. When chasing the suspect I found that you were hitting tires and crashing as a result. Find a smooth line to take.

Another important thing you need to improve is performing maneuvers. Although you made good attempts at most maneuvers you were highly aggressive and at times you were just ramming the suspect, so much that you lost control yourself. To improve, you want to take your time and wait for the correct moment. Match your speed with the suspect so that you are not going to fast and bumping into them. Do not make any other contact with their car other than their rear wheels when performing a PIT maneuver.

In addition, your braking needs a lot of improvement. At times you tried to overtake your backup near to a corner and this resulted in you going into the sand/run off areas which gave the suspect the advantage. This shows that you were not taking the COP 1 and COP 2 guideline in mind. Your awareness in the chase was poor especially when there was another COP in the chase. At times, you were basically pushing your backup out the way in order for you to get in front of the suspect. If COP 1 is right behind the suspect, you must give some distance between them. This is so that COP 1 can perform maneuvers and you have a good reaction distance, in case you need to slow down.
