FXO Cop Setups - cheb60 - 2012-02-09 10:39

Hello,

I have a qeustion. I need some Setups. Mostly I'm copping with my FXO but it is really hard for me to get a good and fast setup.

Im using my G27 to drive Smile. I hope any one could help me with some setups.

I already have check setup grid and some sites like that but still I dont like the setups. Can anyone just upload some setups for my FXO?

Thanks,

Regards
cheb60

Why would we have better ones then?

some people are using their own setups. I would like to try the setups. Maybe i can drive better with their serups. you guys have more experience so i thought you guys have better ones.

that's all in this case Thumbup1
Try to build your own setup.
Take [COP] tag off. Take a setup, drive 30km on full throttle around the track and decide is this setup is good enough Thumbup1 If isn't... try to fix what is wrong in it.
btw. i'm driving on g27 too, can't handle fxo well.
Take xrt, it's more fun and easy to feel force feedback.

And its such an awesome challange to get it as fast arround the corner, as the FXO does Rolleyes (FXO is a 'bit' lighter then the XRT, and can pull the car through the corner, as its FWD.)

If youre new to [TC] copping I highly suggest the RB4. Its 4wd is alot more forgiving than the XRT or FXO if you ask me. The FZ5 isnt too bad but yeah, Id suggest the RB4 if you get the cash/wish to sell your FXO.

If you go to setupgrid (Its the first result when you google that, it has tonnes of lfs setups) there you can download a setup for a track and just mess around with it till you get the desired setup for copping on that track. It may be the wrong way but meh, people are different. Im just lazy like this.

XRT is probably my favorite car to drive, but I'd say the FXO is better for copping. Better still, FZ5.

RB4 drives very nicely, but it's a little too slow and the turning circle isn't good.

Plus it'll eat the clutch with the standard set, and the tyres with every other one. (Does for me anyway Tongue)

Research how to make a good setup. Learn what does what and slowly keep adjusting your own setup until it's just right. Practicing in other peoples setups without understanding the inner reasons as to why the car is handling differently will lead to poor driver habits later, trust me.
