Hi everyone, so I have recently gotten a graphics tablet and I am starting to make designs and things like that. I have been trying to make a website but have been well.. failing. So I have come over to the lovely [TC] community to ask if any of you guys can discuss the design and everything with me.

Thanks, madguy

You want a portfolio for your graphics work?

RE: Website needed - sezski - 2015-11-24 18:10

Okay, I'll have to find a way to record it but I will record something to show you what I can do borja.

What do you mean dan?

You haven't said what you're struggling with; there are many aspects to designing. Simply stating that you're failing makes it difficult for anyone to help.

RE: Website needed - sezski - 2015-11-24 18:24

Sonic, the only problems that I have are making the website. With support, I can do the rest.

RE: Website needed - Borja - 2015-11-24 18:25

I want to help , but i cant , sorry. I cant know how to relate this to a website , sorry.

Hope you find the solution Smile

Need a form of selling things and a gallary really.

RE: Website needed - Owl - 2015-11-24 18:35

Don't come to us for encrypted websites, you are asking for help on dealing with personal bank details by asking for selling forms. I ain't helping with that.

RE: Website needed - sezski - 2015-11-24 18:40

Skoda, I dont know how but some how, there must be a way for myself to edit that in?

RE: Website needed - Owl - 2015-11-24 18:51

What, to place a form to handle credit and debit card payments? Ask a professional or wait 7 years to set up a PayPal account purchase system.

RE: Website needed - sezski - 2015-11-24 18:56

If it helps, something like this. https://gyazo.com/c13ee83c6dde9afe14d72f6639a31557

I dont know skoda, all I need is someone who can design a website to talk to about an online store.

RE: Website needed - Borja - 2015-11-24 18:57

You shouldn't need a website right away, if you are just starting out. I would recommend Carbonmade or something similar which is an online portfolio. You can still make money from your designs by taking requests from people on forums and if it gets enough recognition, then you might make some money from it.

As for the website, I am not entirely sure, sorry. However I am just helping you with some cool ideas Smile

RE: Website needed - Pete - 2015-11-24 22:53

Before you even think about displaying you work, you need to have work to display.

Once you have a product, you'll have a better idea about how to pitch your ideas to people.

Only then will people be interested in helping. Take my advice, I make websites for people.

just use Instagram or tumblr to public your artwork.
if you made website and nobody know about you you will never get anything.

Social media is a great way to gain recognition. ^

The whole point of the website is almost like an online shop. Thanks for the idea though Smile
