Anyone know if/where i can get a FREE LEGAL copy of Microsoft Access? Even if its the 2003 or before version? Smile

Just realised you said access not excel.

Something like

May be what your looking for, if your not wanting to work with a full mysql or equivalent.

Depends what he's after - Access isn't just a database, it's also a UI. If all you want is a database to connect to, Access isn't usually the first choice Wink


regarding Open Office: http://www.libreoffice.org/ is betterer. It's a fork from OOo that happened soon after Oracle bought Sun (including OOo) and is where most of the development effort is going.
