Origin freezing computer - Jedi - 2016-03-22 10:01

Hola all.
Just wondering if anyone here has had this happen or know a solution.
Everytime i start up Origin or do anything that has to do with Origin it freezes the computer. Have a few games on there id love to play but this issue is making it hard to even get them started.

Cant even reinstall it as the same happens then.
Also any googling ive done has this comming up as a common problem but absolutely no fix or solution being posted.

Thanks in advance.

Try clearing your system files cache.

Only solution I'd try.

Lol I just googled for "origin freezes pc" and those totally idiotic replies on those "help threads" made me actually rage.

However.
How is it freezing? Is it just the one program or the whole pc? Can you still do diagnostic tasks while is is frozen?

Not done the system files cache yet, might try.
Yeah i had the same thought Chuck Tongue
Whenever i start up/install/uninstall Origin the entire pc freezes, i cant do anything at all.
This has happened before but i had reinstalled Windows since then i believe.
In other words, anything that has to do with Origin starting up freezes the pc completely.

Nope cant even Ctrl-alt-del, have to use reset button.

You can try checking the event viewer to see what's the error that caused the issue,

I'd reinstall DirectX versions / .NET framework, Maybe that will help.

Check folders like: %appdata% that can be accessed by pressing Windows key + R and entering that. Deleting origines data may do the trick and reset it to it's factory states.
