Blackwood corner - Tommer - 2012-03-04 02:25

I think the chicane in blackwood should be restored, the already-small track didn't have many turns to begin with, it's a bit bland now not to mention it looks messy.

Am I the only one?

Nope, definitly not. As in, it has to be reverted. Its to much straight now. Next to that, there's a little hump on the straight bit (instead of the chicane), wich can cause some serious accidents.

Err, what now?

It looks pretty messy, yes. But I guess its good to chance something...

I agree with Tommer here. The chicane should be restored

Keep it lol, Blackwood is quite a slow track without it.

RE: Blackwood corner - Pipa - 2012-03-04 14:10

I like it, the bumps make it quite tricky to slow down rapidly.

RE: Blackwood corner - Lewis - 2012-03-04 14:47

I agree with tommer, the chicane should be put back.

RE: Blackwood corner - Liam :P - 2012-03-04 14:48

I liked the bumps, I liked it!

RE: Blackwood corner - Jappe - 2012-03-04 16:28

How can you like the bumps? "the bumps make it quite tricky to slow down rapidly." There is a corner you have to brake for, if the chicane is there again. The chicane is more fun imo. Also for drifting, but i guess that doesnt count in the votes...

RE: Blackwood corner - Liam :P - 2012-03-04 17:07

Im unsure on what i ment was on phone... I liked the chicane bring it back!

RE: Blackwood corner - Makee - 2012-03-04 17:11

remove bumpssss.

RE: Blackwood corner - Josh - 2012-03-04 17:19

I don't mind it, either way you have to slow down a fair bit. Don't see why we really need to revert to the old way.

Lets see, braking into a chicane that has little, if any, safe run off area if you screw up under braking, or braking into a hairpin that has a large, more or less safe, run off area. I think I'll take the hairpin Tongue Besides, it's great practice in threshold braking Biggrin
