Please use this thread to discuss the upcoming TBO @ FE2 race.

Hi Pete ,
If I am on reserve does this still mean I can compete? whats the difference between race and reserve? I couldn't attend last event as I was banned....

RE: TBO @ FE2 - Discussion - Pete - 2016-07-19 09:49

You can turn up at the time of the event and see if there is a space to drive. There probably will be so just show up and you should be fine.

I'm new to racing in LFS, that's why I got a question:

If you hit the objects in the chicane at the start, can you still set a PB on the server? Cause it seems your time on LFSLazy is invalid then.
What about the chicane in the race? Am I allowed to "cut" it if someone hit the objects in front of me and they are gone?

RE: TBO @ FE2 - Discussion - Banana4Life - 2016-07-19 17:24

I was going to ask the same, what are the rules on cutting corners? Can you hit any amount of objects on the first chicane, can you cut 2nd corner and can you completely cut the last corner as I've seen many people doing

RE: TBO @ FE2 - Discussion - Spencer - 2016-07-19 17:53

For the first corner, hitting the pole is ok but not the tires. For the second complex keep two tires on the curb at least. The last corner is a free for all though, go nuts.

Yes you can.

No you can't.

For the record. This is as much as you're allowed to cut for a lap to be considered legitimate (pole gone, tyres still in place):

Having all four wheels across the white line in the race if the tyres are removed will result in warnings and then penalties for re-offences. I will be asking people to slow down in qualifying if they deliberately cut any part of the first chicane due to the removal of objects, to make sure that that lap does not count.

Gotta love it when people racing in front of you hit those tires and you end up crashing into them.

I have the same question

RE: TBO @ FE2 - Discussion - Adam - 2016-07-24 09:01

You can't hit the tyres is all i know

RE: TBO @ FE2 - Discussion - Pete - 2016-07-24 10:57

You may not hit the tyres on the last corner but jumping that kerb is generally accepted.

RE: TBO @ FE2 - Discussion - Borja - 2016-07-24 11:21

Okey, thanks for answer the question! Im new on this

RE: TBO @ FE2 - Discussion - Adam - 2016-07-25 22:18

Signing out for this one, I don't really enjoy the combo that much and i also feel that i might cause a few crashes due to the fact that i am a bit of a noob at this combo (even after a load of practise)

RE: TBO @ FE2 - Discussion - gigawert - 2016-07-26 03:21

I would love to compete but can't for two reasons:
1) It's very difficult to get a 1:23 time with a XRT, RB4, or FXO
2) I'm rarely available in the mornings, so maybe could you host some races later on? Thanks. Smile

Do you want the back half of the field to be wiped out on the first lap Tongue
