Watch & share this video if you agree with the action that is being taken. I'm not sure I 100% agree with some of it but still, make your own minds up.

I still have a lot of respect for the people behind Invisible Children.

Beat me to it, we just watched it at school.

It's a great cause, and I'm definitely donating some dollars. Smile

Looks like the persecution of music pirates has priority Wink

I have a lot of respect for what he has done in the past ten years, but I honestly think this isn't gonna work. As they said, it's not of any importance for the western community, so they will not care. This is really how it has always worked and probably always will.

The majority can make a difference.

Great video, it's amazing what you can do with support and mass of people wanting the same thing.

Thats one stunning movie.

I decided to support them. So if you are in the Netherlands and you see a blue Peugeot 407 with a 'KONY 2012' poster behind the rear window, that's me then.

Might as well support them 'in real life' except just Facebook.

Do you actually support them or do you just wear a Kony flag?

RE: KONY 2012 - Audiojack - 2012-03-09 18:00

The idea is good I guess but it's a bit late. Kony hasn't even been in Uganda for years..

Also I don't like the fact that they're supporting the army of a guy who himself rose to power in Uganda with the use of child soldiers. In fact he has been sitting on the throne for about as long as Kony has been running around.

I'm also pretty sure that I would still rather contribute to getting more medicine and stuff like that there, and I think that the majority of Ugandan people might actually agree with me..

I think in the short term these solutions are good but we cannot keep supporting other countries with another countries money. We should provide the support for the Ugandan people to have there own medical facilities and drug production. Uganda needs to begin to have the means to support itself.. We keep feeding money in but the changes we make are only temporary, we need more permanent solutions, ones that generate jobs for Ugandan people and education that goes up to college level so that it is of use to employers/they are able to set up their own business.

Just my opinion Smile

RE: KONY 2012 - Malibu - 2012-03-09 18:56

I'm not sure it's true, but I just read an article about Uganda people not being happy AT ALL about this whole campaign. So I guess Audiojack is right.
