Since I also run a similar project in another game I know that there comes the point where you don't want to go on spending both voluntary time AND your own money. I there also relied on donations to keep the servers running.
What may be interesting to some people though is a earnings & expenses list.

Nevertheless, I contributed now too with a donation since I am being part for three years and I felt like it's a good point now to give something back.
