2018 Announcement - BP - 2018-01-01 10:04 Hello, Firstly, we hope everybody had a good holiday, and we wish everybody a happy New Year! We start off 2018 by announcing some news. Departure To get the bad news out of the way, we unfortunately announce that Ras has chosen to step down from his CityDriving administrative duties, but he will stay in the [TC] Team. We thank him for all his hard work he's put in over the years! Promotion Moving onto the more positive news, please join us in congratulating [TC]►Carl◄ who has been promoted to Inspector! Recruitment Changes After months of consideration, we have decided to make a large change to how we handle recruitment. Going forward, applications to join the [TC] CityDriving team will be open continuously and recruitment will be streamlined. The main reason for this change is that we feel we should always be on the look out for new volunteers, and not just for a few weeks every year. We know that some people are very busy in the summer and can't necessarily commit to a recruitment period. This change gives candidates more freedom, as they can apply when it suits them. It also allows the [TC] team to focus on other things during summer periods. We must heavily stress that we still hold ourselves and our candidates to the same standards of previous recruitment drives. Candidates may only submit one application at a time, this means you should take your time when filling out your application. If an applicant/candidate fails at any stage, they will have another opportunity to apply in the future, details would be clarified in their rejection letter.
