I am looking for clarification - Reckless Driver - 2018-04-14 18:16

I will just leave that here for that particular cop who knows what I'm talking about.

1.3. Drive on the correct side of the road.
Driving on the wrong side is tolerated for short periods of time and as long nobody else gets disturbed or endangered. This includes the wrong usage of one-way roads. Crashes due to this will be treated as ramming.
Strictly forbidden on Autobahn-sections. (see Server Specific Rules)

To another cop who fined me twice for same parking spot while I was busy with conversation (parked on grassy patch away from traffic not causing anyone discomfort, besides that cop's ego).

4.6. Parking
Cops are not allowed to fine other users for improper parking immediately. The cop must first ask the driver to move along. If a user fails to respond or move, a parking fine may [BE] issued once.

The former cop fined me for crossing hatched line on intersection beforehand, while other drivers were speeding and running red lights unnoticed; like, really? Now, consider this:

nazi
1. short for Nationalist Socialist German party

2. more recently, it has become a slang term used to described people who are overly concerned about details (in an unhealthy way), and like to correct others on every occasion they get. Especially evident on internet forums, blogs, and youtube
i.e.

A - me and my friend went out yesterday
B - that's "my friend and I went out yesterday"
A - don't be such a syntax nazi

Have a nice day!

I fined you once, and I asked you to move.

2018-04-14 17:28:18 UTC One (Blackwood) sadiee [TC]›Sadie‹[HwA] : !l Last warning. Move your car now or you will be fined!
2018-04-14 17:28:11 UTC One (Blackwood) sadiee [TC]›Sadie‹[HwA] : !l You are illegaly parked. Please move your car.

If you close the window about the parking ticket you are no longer protected by the insim for a new parking fine.

Looking at the fines you got in that period it are the following:
2018-04-14 17:28:59 UTC racingsoul pay Paid a 40 € fine
2018-04-14 17:27:20 UTC racingsoul pay Paid a 75 € fine

Parking ticket are only 40€ and 80€ so you only payed for one parking ticket.

Please note there is a difference between server rules and road laws when it come to WW. Cops fines people from breaching roads laws, not server rules. Hence I see no problem here.

RE: ww - BP - 2018-04-14 18:24

1. The thread title 'ww' isn't descriptive. Please look at and follow the forum rules: http://forum.city-driving.co.uk/misc.php?page=forumrules

2. You quoted the wrong side driving rule. I am guessing the fine list is more appropriate in this case?
Fine List Wrote:Failure to keep to the correct side (50€ / 75€ / 100€)
Driving on the wrong side / wrong direction (Does not include overtaking (within reason), passing or evading)
https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1E2jBSgqQjmuZfQhLt-MthVViq87BT5jzuQ19-RqHpEk&

3. The illegal parking fine can be issued in the conditions you quoted (server rules). However, you paid your fine and continued parking remained* in an illegal spot. If you subsequently get fined again for - yet again - refusing to move, that is fair.

4. As I've explained to you in-game, don't go around calling people "nazi" regardless of any internet definition you've found for it. It's not appropriate.

RE: ww - Reckless Driver - 2018-04-14 18:25

I'm not afraid to call things by their name. If a person is uncomfortable with hearing it; I believe, that person may need to rethink her actions. I believe, answering me with "lel" and "kek" is less appropriate for an official, than my calling her nazi for her actions.

And yes, I overtook a guy who was known to brake-check me before - I had to go ww in order to pass him clearly. I did it safely without causing undue delays.

And admins aren't afraid to kick or ban people who break the rules.

It is admin's right since it is their server. However, the cops aren't above the law, nor they can misuse the rules to annoy/harrass/stalk other users, like she did.

According to her, she didn't like my name. Great reason!

RE: I am looking for clarification - BP - 2018-04-14 18:32

I will quote a few things from the server rules.

Quote:1.1. Respect other players.
Do not harass or abuse other players. They may be new to the game and not know the track or customs - help them, do not insult them. Always be aware other drivers may act unpredictably.

Quote:3.8. Fines
Don't argue with cops about the fine. If you think the fine is unfair, post a refund request on the forum along with a replay. Also, consider a report against the cop if he/she consequently issues wrong fines and/or behaves incorrectly.

Also, check here: http://city-driving.co.uk/rules/#report

Any more questions?

RE: I am looking for clarification - Reckless Driver - 2018-04-14 18:38

Exactly what I thought you would come up with, unfortunately. When there are no more arguments, people usually direct attention to semantics.

You may close this thread because arguing here is a waste of time for both parties. Admins always right, right Wink

Wish you a wonderful day.

P.S.: don't worry, you won't have to deal with me anymore. Thank you for a great server, it was fun playing on it! Bye.
