It's nowhere close to a racing skin and does conform with every rule from the skin regulations. Take a look if you like:

Atleast I think its not highly visible in any way. But yes, true, otherwise okay.

Looks just fine for a cop skin imo, no dark colours and is easy to recognize?

RE: Skin Approval - Luke - 2014-03-07 16:39

We have been discussing skins within the training team to try and be a bit more organised.

Are they usable on the TC servers? As the idea was to make the team noticeable for people who want to be trained. There's two colours, Black and Blue and every rank in the training team has there own skin based around this:

P.S I purposely took them at a distance to show them at a distance whether they are clear enough.
Is everything alright and is it eligible to be used on the servers? If you want anything added or removed let me know Smile

Thanks!

Looks fine, no issues rule wise.

Due to the logo on the bonnet, you moved the POLICE quite far back.
Please make it a bit bigger to make it visible as people will have to see it from quite a low angle.

Ideally you could probably move it a bit closer to the BMW logo aswell.

If you fixed that then feel free to use it.

Jepp looks good, feel free to use them.

RE: Skin Approval - Pipa - 2014-03-24 19:24

Looks fine, should be easily recognizeable as a tow skin. Have fun using it and nice work Smile.

rules Wrote:7.3. Skin

Tow cars must wear a skin which clearly identifies the car as a tow car.
Note: Yellow/Black battenburg is reserved for HwA vehicles and must not be used by TOWs.

If you're a trainer, yeah that'd be fine, Lowrider.

RE: Skin Approval - Haribo - 2014-04-01 20:25

Good Job Sako. Gratz Smile

RE: Skin Approval - Connor - 2014-04-01 21:42

The thing is, is that solely a Leader skin because, obviously, it has 'Leader' written on it. Are the other new Training Team skins of other ranks able to be used on the servers?

Also, are these acting as just COP skins?

RE: Skin Approval - Luke - 2014-04-01 21:57

Connor, information about this skin will be released on the trainer section shortly Smile

It is a skin that is eligible to be used on the servers with separate ranks I believe (like my skins).

I'm sure the admins would appreciated that we keep this thread clean for other skins.

Trainers: Take it to the trainer section or PM me Saphira or Paul Smile

The problem with that skin is the main livery is too minimal to make it into a cop skin. When i wanted to do a spanish skin i also came across that car but quickly noticed that the yellow/red lines on the side would hardly be enough for a livery.

http://city-driving.co.uk/rules/copskins.php Wrote:4.4.2.a Traditional

It should have a solid base colour with large areas/panels of bodywork in a contrasting base colour and/or large stripes along the sides in contrasting/hi-vis colour(s).
Suitable base colours are dark colours such as Black, Navy Blue, Dark Green and very light colours such as White, Silver or pale chalk-pastel type colours. Colours such as Yellow, Orange, Pink, Purple and Red are not reccommended as base colours as they have reduced contrast and can easily be mistaken for civillian/recovery vehicles. Yellow/Orange can be used for stripes if they contrast sufficiently with surrounding livery/base colour.

Highlighted why i can not grant you the right to use the cop skin. It does look nice though, kinda a shame. Sorry.

RE: Skin Approval - Lebe - 2014-04-07 18:30

I made this cop skin. Is it good? I wish i could use it on my personal copping.

RE: Skin Approval - Roba - 2014-04-07 19:43

You should also show a picture of the back of the car so admins can see the full skin Smile
