As a Beta tester of http://www.localhostr.com it is with great pleasure that I can announce that the site is now fully functional.

The upload and download speeds are fantastic and it's brilliant to use once you have an account.

Enjoy Wink

Nice, we should put that at the sample-report (http://forum.city-driving.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=1)
Using a public dropbox-link could also be mentioned there.

We should remove TCs file service too, it did never really work as good I wanted it to be, and since there are enough of good other alternatives there is no need for it.

There is one problem with using the free version of Localhostr... The filesize limit is 2.5mb.

+1

Localhostr looks good if I was using many different computers but for me personally, Dropbox suits my needs better.

I somehow like speedy.sh, tho using localhostr now for the smaller than 2.5mb files Smile

Myupload.dk for storage and imgur.com for picture hosting, suits my purpose.

Where did you see that limit?
Just uploaded that: http://lh.rs/UVSeyu3x8K03
10 MB

RE: Localhostr - Johan. - 2012-05-11 11:15

I tried uploading a 25mb replay size. It prompted me with a message that free users can't upload files bigger than 2.5mb.

Edit: for some odd reason the limit is 20mb now.

RE: Localhostr - Chuck - 2012-05-11 11:28

Ah I see. Just tested Myupload.dk They took a 35mb file even without signup and really fast.

I just started using imgur, was previously using tinypic.com but got sick of entering a captcha code for each photo Thumbup1

They actually take 400mb files without registration. 1GB with free reg.

Localhostr is pretty nice. I like it because it's not blocked at my school...yet.
