Someone knows there stuff! Our friend actually has an HK (H&K, whatever you want to call it) .45 ACP and I feel it's not quite as accurate as the Kimber 1911. (It may be shooter error though).

Variations of the Luger are actually sold in .22 target pistols that are very accurate. The advantage is within the weight balance and internals. But an original Luger just isn't accurate enough. I believe the popular version is a Ruger MkIII.

Any opinions on rosewood vs walnut grips? Here are all the grips that are made by Kimber that fit my firearm. Would love opinions as I'm indecisive! http://store.kimberamerica.com/Products/tabid/67/CategoryID/179/Default.aspx

And yes, I do realize that the original Colt .45 is also over 100 years old, but come on. Tongue They didn't even produce the Luger after the war...

BUT anyway. Nice pistol, I'm sure. I hope you will never need it.

Nah I only need 3-5 for across two firearms. But 3 friends also have 1911s (2 Kimbers 1 colt) and these are universal. So I'm sure after range day this week I will have sold the extras. Plus it's nice to have a back up. Magazines do wear out!

(n comparison
To buy 2 it was $75 so 75x5 = $375 total savings $40
Or
To buy 5 it was $175 so $175x2 = $350 total savings $15
