Do that. Just tell them that you think it's getting too hot. And if they say it's supposed to, tell them that you'd expect better from a product in that price range, and it cannot be true that it has to be that hot.
Also, you probably get to keep your G25 if they choose to send you a new G27. They wouldn't have a use for the G25 anyway, and it'd be them who should cover the freight charges.

Yeah, I've had got my G27 for free also when I rang them up about my broken R-Gear.
Althought my throttle-pedal is getting spikes, looks like the pot is gone =/
I don't think I'll still get a replacement because I was told that I won't get warranty on the new one.

How soon after you bought the original did you get the second new one?
For my replacement, the warranty on the new wheel was the remainder of the original warranty or 30 days, whichever is longer.

Well I bought my G25 in 2009, probably october/november. I got my replacement wheel 2010/11/04.

Lol, ironically I just went to the post office 5 mins ago to send the old one. Got 850kr for it xD (inklusiv fragt)
But yeah, I just called them from a number I found on their website, and they answered the first time.
