Since we all had our share now on the Beta D50 host which allows 79 client connections, but only 40 cars on track. You all have probably spent a lot time in the queue waiting to drive.
At some point, we will have more cars on the track, Scawen has made that clear, however, we have to make a decision for the time until then.
So, the question is:
Shall we rather stick with the 79 connections or return to 48 connections ?
Both variants have certain advantages and disadvantages. Some say, waiting in queue is the lesser pain than trying to join a full server.
How do you see it? (Poll added)

I think 79 is OK.
If there are a lot of people in the queue (for example 15+) people may be inclined to break off into server two.
As a result, server two may gain some momentum.

I follow BP's opinion but I'd suggest to set a lower amount if possible, something along the lines of 60~64.

If you connect and you are like the 20th in que, you can always decide for yourself to quit lfs and come back later. I would just leave it at max.

Was good no more say "Full host server" When 47 players we will click spam try to join so annoying.
79 host are free a lot just watch spectate/chat and waiting Queue can AFK when done to join.

I'd much rather wait in queue talking with people or doing something else than spend time constantly trying to join and seeing "too many clicks" message. For people who instead don't want to wait in queue there's second server to use

I'm okay with 79. I'd rather wait inside the server. I think the time we waited outside the server is the same and I think this problem will probably fix itself in the coming days or weeks

People are just complaining about the wait times because it’s new to them and they’re not used to it. As i said in-game the other day the typical time you wait is nothing compared so some other games and you at least get to talk with people.
I vote for keeping it at 79. It also allows people to AFK in spectators a bit more than usual without having to feel guilty about taking up a server space.
The cons to this are that a 2nd server becomes even more unfavourable.

I think people came with the expectation that before it was maybe hard to join the server but after they can start driving with minimal wait times. Now it's easy to join the server and there's a lot of wait times.
Personally, the max limit should be reduced somewhat as I can see that it's annoying to join a full server and wait in queue for 20-30minutes until you finally get a spot. And if you so happen to accidentally miss the 5minute window where you can join, you're back in the last spot of the queue. Or if you for example get rammed by some noob and you go out of bounds, insta spectated and now you have to wait another 30minutes with no fault of your own.

79 for sure. If you dont like to wait and talk just go to TC1, has D50 as well and 47 slots.
There is by the way exactly what you may ask for by limiting it to 48 connections.

Being rammed OOB now gonna come with a punishment of 30 minute waiting queue to get back to driving. While there's no raise in number of allowed racers, don't see any benefit of 79 slots, from which half is spectators.

i would rather see "host is full" then "you are 25 in queue". If 79 connected chat is gonna be a messy everyone in queue spamming theirs position.

It offers patch D50 with exactly the 47 slots you ask for.
