- [DS] P V L - Report, Not obeying sirens. (Report Archived by Carl) - Speed Demon - 2024-07-17 15:28 Users Involved Your LFS Username: SpeedDemonn Their LFS Username(s): P V L Their In-game Nickname(s): [DS] P V L Incident Information Date of Incident: 17-07-2024, Time of Incident: 04:10 PM Description of Incident (Include Timestamps): 19:35:00 - When he was driving on the oval at 165 km/h, he didn't obey the sirens and hit me directly without slowing down. He told me I was doing a ww. It wasn't me who did it, but the person I was chasing went that way. I don't know what he was expecting me to do, I think he was expecting me to go around the whole roundabout and chase like that. + On top of that, he unfairly reported me in-game. He has no respect for the police. Almost all cops have asked this person for move once. Description of your conversation with this user(s) about their conduct, including their reaction to your messages: I gave him a chance to apologize for hitting me. I may have been a bit harsh because I knew he wouldn't apologize, I'm sorry. Please don't mention that at the end of the report. I know myself. I capitalized it because he had no respect for me, because he disrespected me, because it wasn't the first time he had done that. Knowing him, he didn't accept what he had done, as usual. And he reported me in-game. YES RE: [DS] P V L - Report, Not obeying sirens. - Speed Demon - 2024-07-17 16:12 A small correction for myself: I re-watched the dialog in the MPR, and at the beginning when I presented the report to TC. I thought that I had just watched the event and wrote the whole conversation with PVL using CAPS LOCK, but I was wrong. I retract the disrespect that I thought I did only because I capitalized 3 sentences at the beginning of the incident and I don't think I disrespected PVL in any way. Thanks. RE: [DS] P V L - Report, Not obeying sirens. - P V L - 2024-07-17 17:24 Ok, here my point of view. The chase entered my lane of the oval ( I was going clockwise, outer lane ) from the roundabout end by going wrong way. I can not say if they were coming from ovals other lane or were coming from infield. This happens sometimes, a chase drives there and it causes contacts or crashes sometimes as well. Usually the suspect or cop says sorry and then I just answer with no problem. In this case, you were expecting me to say sorry. Thats at least what I can take out of your talking towards me. But, we all know the siren on ovals reaches over to the opposite lane. This is on both Kyoto or Rockinham. In front of me was no chase at all and when finally the siren appeared on my screen it was to late to act in time to avoid a crash as it came from the side. I tried to explain to you, you entered there by going wrong way but you kind of ignored me. Then I noticed you were doing the ingame !report and of course I reported you for that as well. Even if you go wrong way only a short period during a chase you have to watch out for civilians. As the BLUEY guy already stated after he watched the replay: You were in fact going wrong way and I just dont expect a car coming there. This could have been the end but you decided to do this forum report and now we are here for a minor crash. RE: [DS] P V L - Report, Not obeying sirens. - Speed Demon - 2024-07-17 19:00 We're at the end of the line. It's too late to admit your mistake. If I'm there at less than 10km/h, it's your responsibility not to interfere with the chase. You can't come and tell me 'you should have paid attention' or 'you did ww' when I was trying to stop the guy and catch him. All you had to do was apologize. You couldn't... On top of that you reported me in-game. Now I put this report in front of TC to erase the report stain you threw at me. I wasn't the one who did the ww. I didn't turn in the direction you came from and neither did the person in front of me who ran away. I'm done. I'll just wait for the result. Status: Investigation Process. Please be patient, we will reply shortly. Speeddemon, Please do not submit both an in-game !report and a forum report for the exact same offence, please just choose whichever is most appropriate to the situation. In this case, it would be ok to use !report for someone not slowing down for your chase and hitting you. The overall impact to your chase was very low. PVL, You could have definitely avoided contact here, chases may act unpredictably and in this case there was enough visibility and space to react. In the grand scheme of things, gameplay was hardly affected, if at all. Very minor situation. Whilst riding a bike doesn't grant you permission to hit into chases, the chase was able to continue without any disruption. No action will be taken against PVL but the !report against speeddemon will be taken care of because that is invalid. No action has been taken as explained
