Cola. How you playing game? thought this game wasn't out yet.. unless im seeing something...Tongue

RE: Project Cars - Cola - 2013-02-24 11:12

It's been out for a while. You used to be able to purchase a tool pack here: http://forum.wmdportal.com/toolpacks.php

Cheapest was 10£, and the biggest developer pack was like 250000£. Currently they closed new registrations and purchases, as they got into a some minor law problems, but shouldn't mean alot.
The game is in Pre-Alpha stage atm. as it's still being worked on and updated all the time. Hopefully they will sort it out, and open for registrations again. Smile

Well, if you bought it when it was open, you'll recieve the amount of money you paid for your package in discount on the final version Wink

Or if you bought the Full Member pack or above, you recieve the full game for free.

RE: Project Cars - Ras - 2013-03-02 23:26

How can that be a game

RE: Project Cars - Cola - 2013-03-03 23:25

Had a race earlier in the new BMW M3 GTS GT4 which has just been added to the game in Build 417.

Disclaimer:
Was my first go in the BMW M3 GTS GT4 in the game, and my first run on that track too, hence the recommended racing line on the ground. Tongue

RE: Project Cars - Johan. - 2013-03-03 23:41

Is it me, or is it strange that your video looks like a completely different game than the screenshots NB posted, Cola? I mean, the game in your video, looks like a '99 game on DX5..

And I'm not really a fan of those engine sounds either. Crying

RE: Project Cars - Cola - 2013-03-03 23:45

Engine sounds are fine by me, except for the dodgy gearshifts and clutch burners (my fault for being lazy with the clutch) but the graphics in my game, are running on low in 1680x1050, which is the major difference. It's all my system allows with reasonable FPS.

Don't be fooled. In-engine and in-game/realtime are very different things.

Probably it is, yes. But still, if you have a graphics card that allows for maxed out graphics and a SweetFX injector, you will have your game looking like the screenshots.
The screenshots are taken in-game in the Ctrl+F mode. (same as Ctrl+U in LFS)
