Hiya.

Bill Moggridge passed away on the 8th of September. He was the designer of the very first 'laptop' as we call it now. He designed the Grid Compass in '79, wich came on the market in '82.

May he rest in peace. Thanks to him we've got the laptops like we know them now.

Eventually yes, but laptops wouldn't be where they are now because of him. That's the point...

such a tiny screen, I thought the ones in storage at my old school were the oldest ones ever!
